We’re standing with trans people

We’ve been fighting for trans rights for years – and when we work together, we can win

Hello from Good Law Project! It’s great to be at Trans Mission, so we thought we’d introduce ourselves. We’re a campaigning non-profit who use the law to resist hate and bring hope. And we’ve been defending trans rights for more than five years.

It’s been a really tough time for trans people. We’re all feeling the weight of last year’s Supreme Court decision on the meaning of sex under the Equality Act. For the latest information on where things stand with our challenge against the Equality and Human Rights Commission’s interim guidance, see our FAQ and resources for our trans friends and allies.

But among all the hate, there is hope. We’ve seen how people have come together to take care of each other, and to fight back. And we’ve been right there with you. We’ve helped to keep hate out of Hampstead Ponds, stop Sex Matters lobbying for conversion therapy and force Ofcom to investigate TalkTV’s transphobia

If the past year has shown us anything, it’s that when we work together, we can win. And we’re not slowing down right now you can defend trans kids in schools, go out to bat for trans women in cricket, or support our appeal the High Court’s judgment on trans rights.

Sign up for our emails and we’ll keep you up to date with the latest in the fight for trans rights, as well as other ways to get involved.
